Isabella Blue
Working across painting, installation, and digital, her practice becomes a space for navigating and exploring how who we are is shaped by the roles we adopt, the narratives we construct and the experiences we often choose to keep private. The process of creating allows Isabella to explore and reconsider the assumptions surrounding personality, behaviour, and identity, and to question how these elements are perceived by both herself and others.
After graduating from Goldsmiths University of London with a BSc in Digital Arts Computing, where she explored combining her traditional skills with emergent technologies, Isabella continues to challenge and merge the often opposing worlds.
In 2025 she joined ‘Spaces to Create’ at Creative Melbourne Gallery in Melbourne, Derbyshire, UK where she is currently researching and developing her practice to challenge the spaces available for digital and computational artists in the Midlands, whilst continuing to explore the themes of identity and personality.
Her art practice is also heavily inspired by her experiences working in the marketing and curatorial worlds such as the Associate Curator for Creative Machines 3 Exhibition and Symposium, supported by the Alan Turing Institute and co-curating her year's final degree show.
